The Roman forum is near the iconic Colosseum. It is the home of the city’s most important historic ruins. It is also the beating heart of the Roman Empire.

St. Peter’s Basilica
St Peter Basilica church is the largest and tallest dome on Earth. It is also part of one of the four major basilicas in Rome.
Technically St Peter’s is part of Vatican City and not Rome (but is considered part of Rome only).
The church is 150 feet high and has statues on both sides of the wall. Entry to the church is free; however, there are nominal charges if you want to go to the top of Duomo.
