It has an amazing 5-tiered raja gopuram which is 120 feet tall. The unique terrace will allow you to reach gopuram.

3) Thirupparamkunram Murugan Temple

Pay A Visit to this temple if you are in Madurai. It is located closer to the city of Thiruparankundram. The ancient structure is a masterpiece architecturally because it’s rock cut. 
Another interesting feature is the place of Lord Vishnu and God Shiva. Here, both of them face each other. Usually, they never face each other. You can explore the complex by strolling around. 

4) Alagar Kovil 

Alagar Kovil temple is known for its intricate carvings. The temple is situated on the hill and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The life-size structures, colourful carvings, stupendous hall, and charming architecture are a treat for the eyes to admire. 
The temple showcases Lord Vishnu statues in different postures.

5) Puthu Mandapam

Any visit to South India stays incomplete without shopping. Puthu Manadapan is located just opposite Meenakshi temple. It is famous for its collection of fabrics, jewellery, handicrafts, fashion accessory, and artwork.
