At Pasanauri, where the Black and White Aragvi Rivers embrace, we pause in a land famed for its beloved khinkali. Higher up, the road unveils Gudauri, Georgia’s crown jewel in the mountains – a ski resort in winter and a paradise year-round, where fresh air, endless views, and even paragliding invite the soul to soar. As evening falls, we return to Tbilisi for an overnight stay, carrying the spirit of the mountains in our hearts.

At the summit rests the ancient Sevanavank Monastery, built in the 9th century by Princess Mariam in memory of her husband. Here, sacred history lives on, with one of Armenia’s rarest treasures – the Amenaprkich Khachkar (All Savior Cross-stone), depicting Jesus with unmatched beauty and reverence.
