It is one of the most famous wetlands in the world. It is home to many exotic birds. If you are an avid birdwatcher, this place is a paradise. The lake attracts more than 160 species of birds during winter. Many migratory birds, such as herons, cranes, and pink flamingos, fly here from Iran, Siberia, and Central Asia. 

You can also visit Kalijai temple, which is also located on the island of the lake.

If you are a wildlife lover, this place is for you. The national park is unique because of the Mangroves and Giant Salt Water Crocodiles. It has a variety of other animal species, like the Indian Python, King Cobra, and Water Monitor Lizard, to name a few.

Satapada Island is another major attraction point. It attracts many tourists due to the Irrawaddy dolphins.
