WOMEN ONLY MUSCAT TRIP

Bitten by the wanderlust more so than before, I had started frequently traveling, escaping to the destinations as feasible by my number of leaves (I was working full-time then, as a teacher), clubbing weekends, long holidays, etc. since 2015. So it was time for me to experiment traveling farther, away from my country India, and move out of my comfort zone so I decided to Travel to Muscat with women only Muscat trip by DIVAS SOJOURN

Perched on the Gulf of Oman, Muscat is an important Arabic city that’s quickly becoming one of the region’s hot spots to visit. Surrounded by the domineering Al Hajar Mountains, Muscat is a hive of contemporary and traditional culture and design that make for some amazing places to experience. You will love the place even more if you are traveling with your women only Muscat trip.

8 Things to do and see while in Muscat

1.Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

As the sun sets; the immense golden dome of the Grand Mosque is lit up and creates a golden glow that one can’t miss. As an important mosque in Muscat (and Oman, obviously), this beautiful building is impeccably designed and stands proudly iconic overlooking the city. Women only Muscat trip by divas sojourn should be your first choice if you are visiting to Muscat.

2.Sultan’s Palace

The most photographed place in Oman, the palace is not open to the general public, but you can have an evening stroll along the corniche and have a look at it when it is lit up at night. The palace is used by the sultan for receptions and parties only. His actual palace is actually 20 miles north out of Muscat and not a place that’s accessible to ordinary people. Women only Muscat trip will take you to all popular places.

3.  Mutrah Corniche

Mutrah is a commune of Muscat and can be found approximately 15 minutes to the east of the city. This charming coastal town has a well-developed seafront and promenade known as Muttrah Corniche. Walk by the water and admire the expanse of the Gulf of Oman, or enjoy a fine meal and drink at one of the many quality restaurants and bars lining the seafront. This part of Muscat has a laid back atmosphere and is a great place to visit for an evening out with women only Muscat trip by Divas Sojourn.

4. Dolhpin watching and snorkeling

Want to meet the local aquatic life? Grab your swimsuit and sunscreen and hop on a boat.

There are multiple companies offering affordable group tours – for example, Sidab Sea Tours offers daily ocean adventures that include dolphin watching and snorkeling, with all equipment (fins and goggles) supplied, along with snacks and drinks. I opted for this combined one, and it was one of the highlights of my trip.

It’s thrilling just speeding past Oman’s jagged coastline, with its sheer cliffs and hidden coves, but the real attraction lies a few kilometers out to sea. Go with women only Muscat trip by Divas Sojourn to make most of it.

They’re hard to spot at first, but if you’re watchful and lucky, you can see pods of dolphins jumping out of the water before quickly diving underneath the boat. It’s a bit of a blink-and-you-miss it activity, but on a good day, you can get within meters of the sea creatures.

5. DAY TRIP TO THE MOUNTAINS AND NIZWA

6.Some Shopping time

Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of shopping when on holidays, but if you fancy a break from the glaringly hot sunshine and fancy a little retail therapy, head over to the Oman Avenues Mall. The mall itself offers many of the same brands you’ll find in London and New York all within some icy cold air conditioning.

7. Royal opera house

The best in the Middle East and boasting some of the world’s best acoustics, showtimes are usually on Fridays and Saturdays. The programming is excellent, and tickets are on the cheap side; for instance, you might be able to see world-renowned tenor Placido Domingo for just $100 USD! It’s nice to combine a night at the opera with dinner at Al Angham for delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, or Fauchon for international flair.
